Lone Star Arena Rules and General Guidelines
1. NEGATIVE COGGINS REQUIRED FOR ALL EVENTS.
Be prepared to show a copy.
All horses spending the night must be put in Lone Star Arena assigned stalls at the conclusion of an event. Stall rental runs from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. There will be only one horse per stall. If at noon, a horse or personal belongings are still in the stall, the stall will be locked and an additional $25.00 will be required. Horses that are not stalled by one hour after the conclusion of an event will be impounded, and an impound fee of $35 will be required to release the horse. Any horse that is found in a stall that has not been assigned to that horse will be removed by the Lone Star Staff and locked up. One bag of shavings is required for each stall. No outside shavings are allowed.
All dogs must be on a leash at all times. This will be strictly enforced. After one warning and if the dog is not put on a leash, the dog will be prohibited from the inside of the building.
Vendor Forms are available on the website. There shall be no selling of any type of merchandise or professional service on the arena grounds, in stalls, or at trailers without a vendor contract with Lone Star Arena Management. Contact the Lone Star Office for contract approval.
5. PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
Lone Star Arena photographers will photograph and may video all horses and competitors. The photos and videos are the sole property of Lone Star Arena and the photographers.
6. PRIVATE CLUB
Erath County is a dry county. In order to sell alcoholic beverages at this facility, we must be affiliated with a private club. Memberships to this private club are available on site for a surcharge prior to purchase of alcohol. In the State of Texas, it is ILLEGAL to take any alcoholic beverage into a facility that has a private club permit or a mixed beverage permit, so no outside beverages of any kind will be allowed inside the arena building. It is also illegal to leave the facility with an alcoholic beverage.
7. SMOKE FREE
Lone Star Arena is a Smoke-Free facility.
8. PRIVATELY OWNED
Lone Star Arena is a privately-owned facility. The management of Lone Star Arena reserves the right to create any new rule, or modify any existing rule, in order to better the events held.
